and 2-Methylcyclohexane-1,3-diamine (CAS 13897-56-8) .
Methylcyclohexane diamines have quickly become important monomers for resin manufacturing. An exposure limit for the diamines is not yet established in North America, but they are listed in the EPA Section 8(e) Substantial Risk Notifications list.
LCS Laboratory offers an HPLC method for the sampling and analysis of diamines in the air. This is a proprietary method validated by LCS Laboratory. Vapors are collected on standard sampling tubes at 20-50 ml/min for a total air volume of up to 10 liters. Laboratory reports results in ug/sample with the reporting limit of 1 ug/sample. The overall reporting limit of diamines in the air is equal to 0.03 ppm.
