cannabis_dryLCS Laboratory Inc., has developed an analytical procedure for the assessment of occupational exposure to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) particulates in air.  The samples are collected on 37 mm filter and analysed by High Performance Liquid Chromatography. Two procedures are now available:

  • Tetrahydrocannabinol.
  • Total psychoactive components: Tetrahydrocannabinol and Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, as total THC.

LCS laboratory Inc., reports THC with sensitivity of 1µg/sample, which corresponds to overall sensitivity of 0.002mg/m³  for 4 hour sampling .

The test is recommended for assessment of occupational exposure limits of workers who are involved in harvest, drying and packaging of medical marijuana.

LCS Laboratory offers other tests for assessment of occupational exposure in medical marijuana production. Please email us to request additional information.
