Isocyanates are common in polyurethane foams, coatings, adhesives, and sealants. LCS Laboratory provides specialized testing to identify residual Free Diisocyanates in liquid and solid polymer samples. This service helps manufacturers confirm that their products are free from hazardous isocyanate compounds, supporting regulatory compliance and protecting end‑users. Any residual isocyanates in finished materials can cause respiratory issues and skin sensitization. Testing helps ensure product safety, meet industry regulations, and strengthen customer confidence.

How We Test

Our method is based on a modified OSHA Method 5002, optimized for bulk polymers. Isocyanates are extracted and stabilized through derivatization, then analyzed using HPLC‑UV for accurate quantification.

Isocyanates We Detect: MDI, TDI, HDI, and IPDI.

Detection Limits: Individual Isocyanates: 100 mg/kg
