37 mm cassettes
LCS Laboratory Inc., offers various cassettes for personal air sampling. As always, all consumables are provided to you free of charge, as long as you return them back to our lab for testing.
The most common design of an air sampling cassette (further “cassette”) is a 37mm cassette. They are considered to be the industry standard and are listed in multiple NIOSH and OSHA standards. The cassettes are best suitable for compliance testing where the hygienist must follow the precise instructions of a standard method.
25mm cassette
25mm cassettes are 50% smaller than the standard 37mm cassettes. They have the same opening size as the standard 37mm cassette and therefore have the same capturing efficiency. Our clients use 25 mm cassettes for area sampling in hard-to-reach areas and for personal sampling inside of supplied-air-hoods.
at the mouth sampling
Our smallest cassette is 14mm and is used in situations where the size of the cassette is critical. They are commonly used for true breathing zone sampling. Because of their small size they can be positioned right at the worker’s face or inside a welding helmet.
