LCS laboratory offers sampling media and chemical analysis of samples collected in rubber processing facilities.
The samples are collected as inhalable dust using method MDHS 14 (UK). Total dust load is measured using a gravimetric analysis and reported to you as “total inhalable dust” which represents the concentration of rubber dust. Our reporting limit is 100 μg/sample.
The sample, is further re-analysed for rubber fumes and oils by MDHS 47 (UK) with modification, where we use vial extraction instead of soxhlet extraction. This modification reduces the reporting limit from 500 μg per sample to 100 μg per sample.
