The ongoing COVID 19 pandemia demonstrated the importance of all kinds of microbiological protection, including industrial and household air-purifiers.  New technologies of air purification are emerging every day and need to be tested before being introduced into a very competitive market.

LCS Laboratory Inc (Canada), in cooperation with Biocare Research (I) Pvt. Ltd. (India), offers  ISO 16000-36:2018 Indoor air — Part 36: Standard method for assessing the reduction rate of culturable airborne bacteria by air purifiers using a test chamber. In this study, your purifier is placed into a room-size chamber of 17 m3 and airborne bacteria are injected. The effect of the air purifier on the concentration of bacteria in the air is monitored in a 3-hour experiment.

The results and observations are summarized in the format of the official report. An example of such a report can be seen here.

All testing will be performed in Biocare Research (I) Pvt. Ltd. (India)., and  LCS Laboratory Inc offers logistic, QC, and technical support to our clients.    If you want to learn more about the test or to request a quote,  please contact us and describe what would you like to test and what are your target microorganisms.
