distillingLCS Laboratory Inc. offers a boiling point test by method OECD 103.  Boiling Point (BP) is a fundamental physical property of any liquid.  When you prepare a SDS (Safety Data Sheet) for your product you need to provide a true value of it’s BP. Usually BP is defined as the temperature at which the vapor pressure of a liquid is equal to the external pressure.

Sometimes, boiling point can be found in scientific literature.  However, it becomes more complicated when the product is a complex mixture of several volatile liquids.  For example a formulation containing acetone, water and glycerol. The BP of such a mixture can be anywhere from 56°C to 290ºC, and  it is nearly impossible to calculate or find in a handbook.

We measure the Initial Boiling Points of pure liquids and solutions following the method OCDE 103.

We also test for all other properties you might need in preparation of a SDS. For pricing, please check our price list, or email us for a non-obligatory quote.
