Purpose of the Service

Here’s what you’ll find:

Letterhead (Top of the Page): Displays our laboratory name and contact details, confirming where the analysis was conducted.

Client Information: Your name is listed, ensuring the report is uniquely linked to your project.

Numbered Sections for Easy Reference

#1 Work Order Number: A unique identifier for your analysis. Provide this number if you have questions or need assistance locating your project in our system.

#2 Date Received: The date your sample was received and registered in our laboratory.

#3 Date Reported: The date your testing was completed, and the report prepared.

#4 Name of Analysis: Specifies the type of analysis performed on your samples.

#5 Analytical Technique: Indicates the method used to test your samples.

#6 Project Name: The project name you provided in your paperwork.

#7 Sample Name: The name of each sample as labelled in your documentation.

#8 Sample 1 Result: For this sample, “Wall Plaster” was tested and found to contain 2% Chrysotile asbestos.

#9 Sample 2 Result: “Mortar” was tested, and no asbestos was detected.

#10 Sample 3 Result: The third sample contained 0.9% Tremolite asbestos.

#11 Detection Limit: This figure represents the lowest asbestos concentration our laboratory could detect. In other words, this is the sensitivity of the method used for analysis (note: this value is not you test result)

Signatures: The report is validated with signatures from the chemist who performed the analysis and a second chemist for quality assurance.
