LCS Laboratory Inc., offers a Melting Point (MP) measurement by the method OCDE 102. MP is a fundamental physical property of any solid and defines the temperature at which a solid turns into liquid. At the melting point the solid and liquid phases exist in equilibrium. When you prepare a SDS (Safety Data Sheet) for your product, you must provide a true value of its MP.
In SDS preparation, it is a common practice to use the handbook values of Melting Points, but the value is not always available especially for complex mixtures. We measure Melting Points of solids, waxes and polymers following the method OCDE 102. We also test for all other properties you might need for preparation of a SDS.
