4’4′-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate
Our method is based on the OSHA 47 method, which was later modified for the analysis of bulk samples of cured polymers. The isocyanates are extracted from the polymer matrix using a derivatizing solution, that not only extracts the isocyanate but also derivatizes the isocyanate compounds and prevents their degradation. The resultant extract undergoes thorough analysis via High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC UV).
